About Hooked

Hooked has been running for over 3 years on Foxtel and Austar on Aurora, Channel 183. Dave Butfield thought it would be a great idea to show anglers how to fish. Before Hooked commenced Dave produced a number of DVD's showing anglers the techniques and skills on how to land that great catch.

With the success of the number of DVD's produced, Dave thought it would be a great idea to create a fishing show that people could learn from and have some fun at the same time. With the help of Foxtel and Aurora Hooked was produced. Dave travels around Australia fishing many different locations for a large range of different species. From kingfish in Sydney Harbour, bream in Tasmania, wrestling with the mighty samson fish in Western Australia and even just fishing off a jetty showing just basic fishing skills. Dave has an idea that fishing is for everyone and that there should be no limitations on who can go fishing. Fishing should be fun and exciting for everyone.
